It is a natural and protected site from the Conservatory du Littoral, covering an area of 30 hectares and consists of marshes, mudflats, woodlands, heaths and meadows. Grasslands of the Pointe des Emigrants are grazed by two donkeys of Poitou ( Mistral and Madison) and two sheeps Landes de Bretagne (Gibbula and Littorina). These animals avoid enfrichement and enhance the diversity of fauna and flora.
